It can be such an uncomfortable situation to be in and the pain can be pretty unbearable at times. Lose excess weight

Like most health concerns, staying healthy in general helps with it. Such is the case with joint pain as well which mean losing some of that extra weight is advisable. By losing some excess weight you can decrease the amount of pain while improving your mobility.

Exercise wisely

Yes, again one of the tips for the betterment of your health involves regular exercise. It’s a tried and true method for many health concerns and is similarly effective for your joint pain. Regular movement helps keep things flexible. However, you need to be careful about which exercises you try as some can add more pain and damage. Running and jogging result in joint impact that can make things worse off for you. Instead, try less damaging exercises like swimming.

Massage therapy is great for targeting certain area and relieving pain. Trained massage therapists know the proper methods for getting rid of stiffness, pain and increase mobility in your joints. Hot and Cold

While massage therapy can be a time consuming and complicated treatment, a simpler and yet extremely effective is a hot and cold therapy. Switching then to cold therapy is where you’ll get the pain relief.

Eat the right foods (turmeric, fatty acids)

It’s amazing the value the right food can do for your health. While eating healthy is always a good idea, there are certain food that can directly and positively effect your joint pain. Turmeric, the yellow spice found in many Indian dishes, can act as an anti-inflammatory while food rich in omega-3 and fatty acids, like fish, are good for stiffness and pain.
