Baby Boomer Workforce Prefers Flex-Time Work

A recent study conducted by the Harris Poll Group on behalf of Express Employment Professionals found that Baby Boomers have an overwhelming preference for flexible work arrangements.

In particular, the study found that:

  • 72% of Baby Boomers would want to “semi-retire” with flexible schedules if possible
  • 56% would transition to more of a consulting role
  • 81% willing to mentor the next generation

This bodes well for experienced professionals looking to re-enter the workforce on their terms.
